Feta-Olive Sour Dough Bread (pg.40)
What You Need:
1 loaf J. B. Dough California Sour Dough Bread, cut into 8 slices
1/4 cup butter
1 clove of garlic
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons calamata olives, pitted, chopped
Parsley flakes to taste
Place bread slices on baking sheet. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown on 1
side; turn slices. Combine butter and garlic in microwave-safe dish. Microwave
for 1 minute or until butter melts, discard garlic.
Brush over bread. Top with feta cheese and olives; sprinkle with parsley flakes. Broil for 1 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts and edges of bread are brown. Serve with soup or cut into smaller pieces for an appetizer.
