Herb-Swirled Potato Rolls (pg.113)
What You Need:
1 package J. B. Dough Potato Bread mix
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Prepare bread mix following J. B. Dough package instructions. Add sugar with dry
ingredients. Set your machine on the dough mode or on the manual setting.
Remove dough from bread machine. Roll into rectangle on lightly floured surface. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons melted butter; sprinkle with parsley, basil, garlic powder and chives.
Roll as for jelly roll, sealing edge and ends. Cut into 1-inch slices. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise in warm place for 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes; brush with additional melted butter.
